BASTROP — The Cedar Creek Eagles varsity football team recently unveiled its schedule for the upcoming 2025–26 regular season.
Cedar Creek will kick off the season at home against Del Valle on Aug. 28, followed by a road trip to face Austin Akins on Sept. 5. After a bye week, the Eagles will begin district play on Sept. 18 with a matchup at Buda Hays.
The team will return home on Sept. 26 to host Lockhart before traveling to take on Pflugerville Weiss on Oct. 3. Cedar Creek will then welcome College Station on Oct. 10, followed by another road contest against Austin Anderson on Oct. 16.
The Eagles will close out the month with a home game against College Station A&M Consolidated on Oct. 24 and a road trip to face Kyle Lehman on Oct. 30. Cedar Creek will wrap up the regular season at home against Pflugerville Hendrickson on Nov. 7.
The Eagles enter the new season looking to bounce back from consecutive winless campaigns. With the arrival of new head coach Jared Shaw, the program is aiming to reverse its recent struggles and establish a new culture of competitiveness and growth.
