Lady Wildcats volleyball continues district play

GEORGETOWN – Elgin High School varsity volleyball began District 23-5A play this past week as the Lady Wildcats hit the road last Friday to take on Georgetown East View High School in the district opener for both teams.In a very tough volleyball district that has a lot of talented teams, the Lady Wildcats struggled to keep up with the host Lady Patriots as Elgin lost to East View in three straight sets: 9-25, 10-25 and 17-25.Following a district home match on Tuesday vs. Pflugerville Connally High School, the Lady Wildcats will continue to be tested on the road against a ...
