DALLAS – The city of Elgin proudly made its way into the 2023 MLB Draft on Tuesday, July 11 when former Wildcats baseball standout Jace Grady was selected in the 11th round by the Atlanta Braves at No. 339 overall.Grady, a class of 2019 graduate, was a second- team all-state selection when he played at Elgin after hitting a whopping .500 from the plate as a junior.
