Harry Lind died on Feb. 7, 2023, in Austin at age 94 after a brief illness.

He was born on July 12, 1928, in Elgin to Leonora Keeble Lind and Harry E. Lind Sr., who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Rhoda Ann Lind; childhood guardians, Idella Lind, Martin and Lillie Lind; brothers and sisters-in-law, Art and Imogene Thompson, John and June Thompson, and Ralph and Doris Thompson; and sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Robert Johnson.

Harry is survived by his daughter, Lenore Ramm (Ron); his son, Roger Lind (Ruth Ann); grandchildren, Amy Owen (Jason); Kevin Ramm (Nickie); Stephanie Schlimm (Matt); David Lind, and John Lind; eight great-grandchildren; and many friends.

Harry was a lifelong farmer and was employed for many years by Miller Blueprint Company.

A faithful disciple of Jesus Christ, Harry was a lifelong member of Hope Bible Fellowship, having been born into its original congregation, Kimbro Evangelical Free Church.

The celebration of Harry’s life was held on Monday, Feb. 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville.
