BASTROP – Bastrop 552, the nearly 550-acre film studio announced in 2021, has gone through some changes in its development, but is still on track to open late 2024 or early 2025.By substituting the original concrete structures for cheaper, pre-engineered metal buildings, plans have been altered and costs have been reduced to around $50 million, according to Line 204 Studios CEO Alton Butler, the team behind the complex’s development.Butler expects full construction on the project to begin by December of this year.“I love the way it looks.
