Smithville struggles against Taylor’s rushing attack

TAYLOR – The Smithville High School varsity football team got off to a great start on Sept. 15 on the road against Taylor High School but the Tigers could not keep up with the Ducks’ stout running game in a 49-19 loss.Following a long pass from Smithville sophomore quarterback Trip Davis to junior wide receiver Ramonz Adams to get into a first-and-goal situation, the Tigers got on the board first thanks to some trickery.
