TAYLOR – The Bastrop High School girls varsity basketball team continued its summer work on Tuesday, June 13 preparing for the upcoming 2023-24 regular season with scrimmages held at Taylor High School.The Lady Bears have competed in Taylor every two weeks this month and have gone against some stiff competition with Taylor High, Austin McCallum High School, Lago Vista High School, St. Dominic Savio Catholic High School, Manor New Tech High School, Granger High School and Thrall High School.So far this summer, Bastrop has played Lago Vista, Manor New Tech, McCallum, Savio, Granger, and most recently against Taylor.
