Lady ‘Cats rise ranks after thrilling win

Elgin High School’s varsity soccer squads split wins against the Cedar Creek Eagles on Friday, Feb. 3. The girls were victorious in their matchup versus the Lady Eagles, while the boys fell by multiple scores. The Lady Wildcats are 2-1 and rank fourth in district play. The boys team is 1-2 and sitting at the fifth spot. In the girls game, sophomore sensation Dory Estrada drove in the first goal thanks to a gorgeous assist by Grace Segura on a free kick.
