EHS athletic careers to continue in college

​Four Elgin High School student-athletes have accomplished their dream of playing at the collegiate level.​Cameron Hardy, Paiton Altmiller, Aubrey Gonzales and Dakota Brown officially signed their letter of intent on a postponed National Signing Day, Feb. 8. Hardy plays football, and the other three athletes are softball players.​Hardy signed with Southwestern College in Kansas. He thrived as the Wildcats’ middle linebacker throughout his playing career, racking up 91 total tackles, seven tackles for loss and two sacks in his two years on varsity.
