Read moreOn Tuesday, March 3, the Lady Cats defeated Cedar Creek 3-0 on their senior night to clinch three points in the district standings. Sophomore Jasmin Estrada scored from about 35 yards out on a curling shot to the corner. In the second half, a Cedar Creek defender received a red card when she stopped a shot from Jasmin Estrada on the goal line with her hand. Senior Jill Sides buried the penalty kick to make it 2-0. Senior Madissen Lawhon scored a great goal from about 40 yards out that looped over the keeper’s head to make it 3-0. Sophomore Allisyn Carter and senior Nicole Camara had excellent games on defense.
