Baseball The Wildcats traveled to Dell Diamond to meet Westwood on Tuesday, March 3, where they lost a close game 18-16. Then, it was off to Corpus Christi to play in the Miras Sports & More Classic on March 5 through 7. Elgin had a nice showing, ahead 4-0 going into the last game against King at Whataburger Stadium on Saturday, but lost 1-12. Softball The Lady Cats traveled to Brenham for a tournament on March 5 through 7. On Thursday, they lost 2-1 to Giddings, but beat Midland Lee 7-3. On Friday, they beat Brenham 4-3 and lost to Oak Ridge 6-9.
