Eagles overmatched on senior night

The Cedar Creek Eagles were competitive early, but the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots eventually pulled away, winning 53-7.​The loss concluded a disappointing season for the Eagles in which they finished 0-10. Yet, despite being huge underdogs against a formidable Patriots team, the Eagles came out with a solid game plan and fought hard on senior night.​Cedar Creek used some trickery on their opening possession, executing a fake punt run to keep the drive alive.
