‘Cats face stiff tournament competition

The Wildcats continued their 2021 season in tournament action at Westlake High School this past Thursday, Feb. 25. In the first game the Wildcats found themselves down 5-0 heading into the top of the sixth inning. The Wildcats fought back, but their three runs weren’t enough as the host team Chaparrals escaped with the 5-3 win over Elgin. Keaton Grady scored for the ‘Cats on a sac fly in the top of the inning by Til Nalle. Moments later Justin Strong came across for Elgin’s second run of the inning.
