There’s a new coach at the helm for the Lady Cats Soccer 2020 season. Taylor Cansler, the Elgin Middle School boys’ coach last year, was offered the position after Coach Whitaker resigned. Coach Cansler also switched to the girls’ team at EMS for this year. Coach Cansler grew up in the Dallas/Fort Worth area playing baseball and football, but after relocating to Austin to attend UT, he was introduced to soccer, and it wasn’t long before his love of the beautiful game was realized.
