BOTTLED WATER DISTRIBUTION: Bastrop County has finally received its long-awaited delivery of bottled water for distribution to its residents. Please remain in your vehicle and the water will be brought to you. Distribution will continue until time noted or supply is depleted. We ask that you share with your neighbors who may not see this. Distribution sites for this bottled are as follows:
Precinct 1: Road & Bridge will be distributing bottled water at the Maintenance Barn at 601 Cool Water, Bastrop from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Precinct 2: Road & Bridge will be distributing bottled water to the public starting Sunday, Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Smithville Recreation Center, 106 Gazley Street. Distribution will continue everyday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. until supply or demand is depleted.
Precinct 3: Road & Bridge will be distributing bottled water from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 192 Fohn Road, Red Rock and the Cedar Creek Annex at 5785 FM 535 in Cedar Creek.
Precinct 4: Road & Bridge will be distributing bottled water at the Elgin Rec Center at 361 N. Highway 95, Elgin starting at 12 p.m. until gone.
NON-POTABLE WATER DISTRIBUTION: The below locations are distributing up to five gallons of non-potable water per person. You will need to bring your own containers to be filled. You will need to boil this water before using it for drinking or cooking.
Aqua Water Supply: 386 Highway 304 in Bastrop, 1 to 5 p.m.
ESD 1 Fire Station: 214 Fohn Road in Red Rock; hoses are located on the north side of the building for filling your containers.
