After completing the required water quality sampling in compliance with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, City of Elgin determined that the Boil Water Notice can be removed immediately. While the notice has been lifted, we recommend that customers throw out any ice made during the Boil Water Notice and prior to initial use, run kitchen sink or other drinking water dispensing source for 60 seconds prior to use.
