The search for an Elgin man missing since August has ended after finding his remains in Austin. On August 15, the family of Alex Aviles reported him missing to the Elgin Police Department after not hearing from him since the evening of August 12, when he dropped his girlfriend off in Austin at approximately 8:40 p.m. At the time, he was driving a company truck.
