Bastrop County was one of 26 counties that participated earlier this month in a new state program to make vaccines more available to homebound seniors. The Texas Division of Emergency Management, the Texas Department of State Health Services and the Texas Military Department recently launched the first week of an initiative, called Save Our Seniors, to ensure more seniors throughout Texas are vaccinated.
