Empty Bowl Project returns in November

Food insecurity is a growing need in our community. The pandemic, rolling blackouts, and historic winter storms created an increased need for food and support services in the Elgin community. The food emergency, experienced by one in seven Elginites two years ago, now may impact more than twice that number. Pandemic-related funding is dwindling, but the need for help remains.
