Last Tuesday, Elgin Elementary School’s student council, with the help of ranchers from Down Home Ranch, worked to pull up weeds and plant new plants in front of the Elgin Public Library. Led by advisors Kaitlynn Scoville and Megan Wehrle, the student council members who worked on the project included four third-grade representatives, four fourth-grade representatives and five officers from the fifth grade.
