The Elgin Wildcats varsity basketball team lost their two games last week against Vista Ridge and Cedar Creek.
The Wildcats faced the Vista Ridge Rangers in an away non-conference game on Monday, December 14. The Rangers ended with a 29-point lead over Elgin, and the final score was 78-48 Vista Ridge, according to MaxPreps.
The Wildcats' home game on Friday, December 18 against the Cedar Creek Eagles was much closer. Although the Wildcats ultimately lost, the final score was 88-85 Cedar Creek.
