​Elgin High School’s boys basketball team pulled out their first victory of the season last week.​After being on the wrong side of numerous nail-biting finishes, the Wildcats showed steady improvement and put on a solid all-around performance to get the win.Elgin’s week started with a 68-43 loss to the Vista Ridge Rangers.
