The Elgin Wildcats had their game settled and secured early Wednesday night as they took down the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles in dominant fashion. The Wildcats scored 18 runs in their half of the opening inning to sail to a 22-5 win. The ‘Cats got their scoring underway by way of a passed ball that scored Keaton Grady.
