Wildcats defense dominates in win over Connally

It was a devastating defensive performance.The Elgin Wildcats shut out Pflugerville Connally last Friday, winning the game 22-0. The Wildcats moved to 4-1 on the season and currently stand at first place in their district.Offensively, the Wildcats were fueled by a potent rushing attack. Running back Sebastian Jackson led the way with 102 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries; quarterback Nathen Lewis ran for 60 yards and a score on just eight carries.
