Bastrop music fest continues to grow

The 4th annual Bastrop Music Festival took place last weekend at various venues throughout the downtown area. ​The four day event featured an array of talented local artists, such as The Peterson Brothers, Mike and The Moonpies, Big Cedar Fever, and Sour Bridges.​Producer Stewart Ramser spoke about the Festival’s steady growth and its importance to the Bastrop community.​“This festival is a chance for the city to really be in the spotlight,” Ramser said. “This year was our biggest year yet and I think that’s a testament to the community sticking with it… The word of mouth is very positive and it ...
