Elgin snatched the lead late in a 14-3 victory over Bastrop on Friday, avenging a home loss to the Bears earlier in the week.

The game was tied at 1-1 with the Wildcats batting in the top of the fifth when Isaac Davila singled on a line drive to center field, scoring one run.
