Did you know that the Elgin Parks & Recreation Department are the stewards to over 120 acres of parkland, broken in to six different parks that offer a variety of different experiences? A prime example of what the Elgin Parks have to offer is Thomas Memorial Park, located at 411 Madison Street.
Thomas Memorial Park was built in the 1970s, and through grants from the Lower Colorado River Authority and Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, it has expanded to include a myriad of activities and practice fields.
