Tigers fall short after epic comeback

​The Smithville Tigers made a furious second half rally, but ultimately lost 52-44 to the Gonzales Apaches on Friday Oct. 21.​Despite the gut-wrenching loss, the Tigers are still sitting comfortably as far as playoff positioning. They rank third in their district, and as long as they remain in the top four, the Tigers will advance to the postseason.​Simply put, Smithville got off to a horrible start.
