On Saturday, January 18, the Elgin High School powerlifting teams competed in their first meet of the season at Taylor High School. There were 140 total lifters representing 10 schools from seven towns. Since several events take place at once, there was always at least one person to watch; there was never a lull in the action, and the Elgin boys’ and girls’ teams definitely put on a good show!
