Elgin athlete doesn’t let injury define senior season

​Elgin volleyball player and Purple Diamonds dancer Bieryn Elliott had high hopes coming into the 2022 season. She ultimately has contributed in significant ways to both of her respective teams, but not in the way she imagined. Back in August, Elliot suffered a gruesome knee injury, ending her high school athletic career just as her senior year was getting started.
