Eagles basketball wins pair of games

BASTROP — The Cedar Creek High School boys varsity basketball team continued its strong start to the 2023-24 season this past week as the Eagles won home games over Cedar Park High School and Austin Travis Early College High School. The Eagles picked up a hard-fought 56-43 victory Dec. 12 against the Timberwolves of Cedar Park and a dominant 77-43 win Friday night over the Travis Rebels to improve their record to 12-4 this season under Head Coach Valentino Maxwell. In the 13-point win over Cedar Park last Tuesday, the Eagles were again led by Cedar Creek standout senior guard Robert Conrad ...
