Nearly 150 Angelo State University student-athletes and student athletic trainers, including Zachary Bronkhorst of Bastrop, have made the Lone Star Conference (LCU) Commissioner's Honor Roll for the 2019 spring semester. ASU posted the highest number of honorees for any LSC school with 144 students.
Bronkhorst, who plays football, is a freshman majoring in criminal justice at ASU.
Two more students from Bastrop—Lauryn Bresnahan and Mary Pausewang—have also made the honor roll. Bresnahan, a junior at Eastern New Mexico University, plays volleyball and is majoring in physical education. Pausewang, a junior at Texas A&M Commerce, plays softball and is majoring in Mathematics.
