The McDade High School NASA Satellite Team was invited by NASA to attend the launch of their recently built satellite this week, shortly after the 50th anniversary of the first moon walk during the Apollo 11 mission. The launch was originally scheduled for Sunday, but was rescheduled to this Wednesday. This is the second group of students from McDade ISD that has launched a satellite this school year.
