On Saturday, teams of two worked together to complete the Amazing Race through Elgin's parks. Participants started at the Elgin Recreation Center, and after a series of tasks, puzzles and clues, they made their way through town by visiting Elgin Memorial Park, Morris Memorial Park, Veterans' Memorial Park and Thomas Memorial Park.
