Volunteers give Elgin Depot Museum a facelift

Posted in:

The Elgin Depot Museum on Depot Square (train depot on tracks) has just received a spiffy new facelift thanks to the incredible generosity of the Main Street Board Design Team, Melissa Ladd and our city’s Community Development leader Amy Miller. Also, the team from Down Home Ranch deserve a loud shout-out for donating and installing beautiful plants in the old wood barrels that were looking pretty pitiful. The bright paint on barrels and benches with the plantings is greatly appreciated. The museum is quite attractive inside and we appreciate the assistance. Come visit the Elgin museum and also admire the work of these great volunteers. The museum is operated completely with volunteers from the Elgin area. Come join us!
