Peggy was the only child born to Edward O. Jenkins & Peggy Jean Jenkins in New Castle Penn. She was brought into this world on Dec. 10, 1949 and was the complete joy of her parents. Peggy Lee was raised in church and accepted Christ at the age of 12. Her parents, both talented musicians, taught Peggy music at a young age.
