On July 2, at approximately 11:50 p.m., a shooting occurred at the El Gallito bar, 112 South Avenue C.The suspect appears to be a white or Hispanic male, wearing what appears to be a red shirt wrapped around their face, a black shirt with lettering on the back, black shorts, and barefoot.The suspect approached El Gallito walking eastbound on West Austin Street, and after the shooting, ran in the same direction they came from.Anyone with information relating to this incident or the identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective Jordan Real at jreal@pd.ci.elgin.tx.us or 512-285-6673.
