BASTROP — A road connected to possible SpaceX interests in Bastrop County has gotten help from another Elon Musk company.County commissioners approved a donation from The Boring Company for Walker Watson Road during the Nov. 28 commissioners court meeting. The Boring Company, owned by Musk, has property at 130 Walker Watson Road, near where SpaceX-connected property intersects.“They’ve submitted a check to donate $30,000 towards construction of that road,” said Precinct 1 Commissioner Mel Hammer, “and we would like to accept it.”Hammer added that work has been done on the road project.“That’s a nice donation,” said County Judge Paul Pape. “That’s appropriate.”Precinct 1’s road and bridge funding will specifically receive the funding.The property owned by The Boring ...
