A rare recount and a razor-thin margin made one race for Bastrop City Council this May unique. On Election Day, the margin between Cheryl Lee and Jimmy Crouch, candidates for Place 4 on the Bastrop City Council, from in-person early voting and day-of voting stood at 616 to 612.
