100 ramps for Elgin residents

Helping hands recently commemorated a milestone that helps get people’s feet in and out of their homes.The Elgin Ramp Crew recently built their 100th ramp for an Elgin resident. Tools and materials used were from the Texas Ramp Project.For the past 11 years, the Elgin Ramp Crew has been a group of volunteers that build ramps for people in need. The crew usually builds one ramp per month. Each project takes approximately 3-5 hours depending on ramp size and the amount of volunteers.
