For the first time in its history, the Texas Downtown Association gave both of its individual recognition awards to people from the same city: Elgin. The Texas Downtown Association (TDA) held their annual conference last Wednesday in Georgetown, which included the TDA President’s Awards Gala. The awards recognize organizations, events, businesses and programs across the state in categories such as renovations, promotional events and economic game-changers.
