At Friday night’s McDade ISD school board meeting, the high school students who built a satellite and travelled to Cape Canaveral to see it launch shared their experience. Student Luz Ramirez told stories about flying on an airplane for the first time, the amount of bugs they encountered in Florida and the other sights they got to see during their time at Cape Canaveral.
