McDade restaurant suffers fire

After a fire shut down McDade’s Scales’ Cafe earlier this month, the owners are looking forward to reopening and continuing to provide a place for food and community.Scales’ Cafe opened in November 2019 at 1606 U.S. Highway 290 in McDade, next to M-N-J Grocery, serving Cajun food and home-style cooking.
