Bastrop County participates in regional vaccine clinic

A coalition of Austin-area counties launched the first mass drive-through COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Circuit of the Americas racetrack on Saturday. The effort is a partnership between Bastrop, Travis, Caldwell and Hays counties, as well as Ascension Seton and CommUnity Care Health Centers. At Saturday’s first vaccine clinic at COTA, 3,000 vaccines were administered in about nine hours.
