Small McDade band makes school history

The McDade band program made school history this month. Like many school music programs, they attended the UIL Concert and Sight-reading contest in Bastrop on March 4. The McDade Band only has 21 members, making it one of the smallest bands to perform for the competition. There are two parts to the UIL Concert and Sight-reading competition. The first part is the concert, where bands play music they have practiced and prepared.
