The Elgin Arts Association is preparing for their annual Pearls of Youth Art Show to showcase young creative artists ages 5 to 18 from Elgin and the surrounding areas. Besides the usual top three winners in each age group, there will be additional cash awards presented this year to the most artistic representation of Elgin’s history and culture to celebrate Elgin’s 150th Sesquicentennial.
