McDade Watermelon Festival Association recently gave grants to local teachers to help with their teaching and coaching needs. Gina Griffith (pictured in each photo) from the Watermelon Festival Association handed out the grants in the high school gym, with cheering students in the bleachers. We thank these wonderful people for volunteering this year at the McDade Watermelon Festival. Their help means the world to us and we’re happy to help them in return. The grants will help them provide items like science materials, athletic gear, art supplies, training and more.
