Members of the McDade Historical Society gathered on Monday, April 22 to hear a talk by Dr. Harry Krenek about one of McDade’s favorite heroes, Captain Jesse Billingsley, but on the door a notice read: “Tonight’s Monthly Meeting is Cancelled due to Unforeseen Circumstances.” This was a big surprise.
