The Elgin VFW Post 6115 hosted another festive celebration marking Independence Day this year on Saturday evening, July 2. Attendees enjoyed food for sale, activities such as a dunk tank and a water slide for children, and live music from Shop Dawgz, Karla Rose and Ben Zuniga. The evening ended with a spectacular fireworks show after dusk.
