Golf carts zipped around downtown Smithville on Saturday to help raise funds for a young cancer patient. The STX Golf Cart Club hosted their most recent event, ViVi's STX Golf Cart Dice Run, this weekend. The golf cart run was a fundraising event to benefit Viviann "ViVi" Snow, who has been diagnosed with a cancer known as neuroblastoma at seven years old. Teams of participants were each given a set of dice, which they rolled at each stop on their scorecard.
